The long-awaited Craft Brewers Whiskey Project is in its final stages – ready to taste the first batch of whiskeys!
After five years of aging in oak barrels, Berkshire Mountain Distillers, the award-winning maker of a select line of premier craft spirits, will release the first trio of whiskeys in partnership with three brewers in the Northeast as part of their Craft Brewers Whiskey Project in December of 2020.
This multi-year collaboration includes the distilling of a dozen different popular beers from the country’s top craft brewers across five states. Each addition to the American whiskey collection is the product of a single-sourced craft brew distilled into a unique Berkshire Mountain Distillers whiskey.
Join us for `Berkshire Busk! Roadside` at BMD from 2-4 PM! This weekend, we are thrilled to welcome Carol & Nick Duo (@carolandnickmusic) to the distillery!
Dedicated to melody and lyrics, love jazz standards, the American songbook, and Bossa Novas--with a few pop tunes in the mix. Known as "The Small Band with the Big Sound," they offer seven-string guitar, live looper, percussion and vocals to create a sound that is rich and layered, subtle and swinging. They have worked for more than eight years in New York City, Connecticut`s northwest corner and the Hudson valley at restaurants, clubs, vineyards, private parties, special events, and festivals. Nick Moran holds a BFA in Jazz Performance from City College of New York, studying with Ron Carter and, in addition the duo, has played extensively with his own organ trio. Carol Leven studied at the New School`s Jazz program and privately with some of jazz`s greatest vocal legends, including Mark Murphy and Sheila Jordan.
